Nine years after Ghost Shark 1: Port Massacre, Jack Broody is the mayor of Auckland, New Zealand. When people start turning up dead, it becomes clear that Ghost Shark is back. Broody calls in expert ghost shark hunter Tom Logan, but Logan carries demons of his own.
