Surya is a tourist guide in Mahabalipuram. With Satyan, he decides to commit a big time robbery. The house they select happens to be the film actress Jyothika. This lands them in jail. Enraged Surya kidnaps Jyothika. During the hostage, she develops a liking for him. But her manager schemes another kidnap of her to extract a ransom! How Surya saves Jyothika from the kidnappers is the climax.
