As Gracie's newfound fame ruins her chances in fieldwork, she is asked to become the agency's celebrity face and appear in several talk shows. But when her friends, reigning Miss USA Cheryl Grasier and host Stan Fields (William Shatner), are kidnapped in Las Vegas, Gracie must go undercover once again... but this time with a new partner, Sam Fuller (Regina King), a fellow FBI agent with anger-management issues and a dim opinion of pampered Gracie.
