Song of the Last Lacandon Holy Man

On a quest for ancestral music, Mexican musician Luis Pérez-Ixoneztli encounters the spiritual elder of one of Mexico's most isolated indigenous groups. The elder believes the protection of his community depends on his son following in his traditional footsteps, but modern temptations and an ever-widening generational gap threaten his cultural legacy and the village's future.
