When a Miami mother loses her job, she also looses custody of her young daughter to her lowlife ex-husband. Desperate to appeal, she takes a job as a stripper to raise money, but unwittingly attracts the obsessive attention of a corrupt politician and finds herself enmeshed in murder and blackmail.
